Toyota has developed a new energy management system that links homes, vehicles, electric power companies and users to allow integrated control of energy consumption. Known as the Toyota Smart Center, the system was developed as part of Toyota’s smart-grid initiatives.
The Smart Center uses plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHVs) and electric vehicles
