In the next few days, Fiat and Fiat Industrial will again be forced to stop production due to shortages in components supply from Selmat Group. There are more than 5,500 vehicles sitting incomplete at Fiat plants due to the continued shortfall in deliveries from this supplier. The limited number of components from Selmat will be used to complete vehicles already in production. The stoppages are necessary, however, due to the already excessive build-up of incomplete vehicles.
