Navigating today’s urban landscape is often a challenge. Roads are congested, parking spaces are scarce and public transport systems can be difficult to fathom. New ride-sharing and ride-hailing initiatives offer citizens choice and convenience, but their fleets add to traffic on already clogged streets. City infrastructure will experience additional pressure over the next few decades. According to the UN, 68% of the world’s population will live in urban areas by 2050. This predicted population growth is driving city authorities across the world to develop new integrated mobility solutions.
