According to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), electrically-chargeable vehicles (ECVs) accounted for 1.2% of all new car sales in Europe during the first half of 2017. Several experts think that this figure could grow, but encouragement must come from incentives, the development of a charging infrastructure and the improvement of certain technologies.
