Indian vehicle manufacturer Hindustan Motors has revealed plans to double the annual manufacturing capacity of its plant at Thiruvallur by the end of 2012 to 24,000 units.
The numbers appear ambitious. The Thiruvallur plant alone is operating well-below capacity – it has an annual capacity of 12,000 units, yet Hindustan Motors
