In January 2015, Sumitomo Electric Group will participate our first International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show, held every January in Las Vegas, NV, USA.

3．Major Exhibits
- (1) 4K Smart IP Set-Top Box “ST4114”
- A 4K smart IP set-top box is a receiving terminal for an IP TV service that delivers video content and various value-added services to the TV through an IP broadband line. With this product, users can access TV programs and use video-on-demand services, allowing them to enjoy various content at any time. In addition, users can access community information, play games, shop, and use various cloud services. This product has the ability to connect to smartphones, tablets, or other terminal devices to play recorded video content anywhere in the house.
At our booth, Sumitomo Electric will introduce “ST4114,” a terminal conforming to the 4K resolution format. Visitors to the booth will be able to experience the 4K TV first-hand.
- (2) Lenticular Lens
- Sumitomo Electric’s product line also includes a lenticular lens, an optical lens with a unique characteristic. At the booth, visitors can experience high-definition 3D images with the naked eye due to the use of our lenticular lens. In order to display high-definition 3D images, Sumitomo designed a lenticular lens optimal for liquid-crystal displays.
At the booth, Sumitomo Electric will introduce many other products including Smart Home series. Our visitors can experience and learn about the products through hands-on experience of the actual devices and board panels.
