Renesas Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723), a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, today made the following decisions about the change of Representative Director at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on December 25.
1. Outline of the Changes (as of December 25, 2015)

2. Reason for the Change
Today, Takao Endo notified the company of his intention to resign from his positions as Representative Director, Chairman and CEO, effective December 25, 2015, for personal reasons and the company has accepted his request.
Following the resignation of Takao Endo, Renesas has appointed Tetsuya Tsurumaru, the Representative Director, President and COO to the position of Representative Director, President and CEO effective immediately, at the meeting of the Board of Directors held today.
Under this new management setup, Renesas is poised to pursue further expansion of operations and enhancement of corporate value.
