Jan Olsson, Chairman of the Research & Innovation working group at CLEPA (the European Association of Automotive Suppliers has been confirmed for the Safety stream, Pedestrian Safety session at Automotive World Megatrends Europe 2013, taking place on 13 November 2013.
Since 2010, Jan Olsson has been the chairman of the Research & Innovation group at CLEPA, and is on the board of the traffic safety competence center SAFER, which is linked to Chalmers University of Technology.
In 2005 he received the Safety Engineering Excellence Award at the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles (ESV) conference in Washington.
He has worked for Autoliv, the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, since 1987.
During this time he has held several managerial positions mainly within product development, and has been instrumental in the development of many of the most important safety systems in today’s vehicles.
In 2005 Jan also became been responsible for research activities within Autoliv.
Jan has a MScME from Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Organised by Automotive World, Automotive World Megatrends Europe ’13 is a three-stream, four-session conference. Jan Olsson will be speaking in Stream 2: Safety.
