Bulten-Rus, a joint venture of GAZ Group, part of Russia’s largest diversified industrial group Basic Element, and Bulten, Swedish manufacturer of fasteners, received an award as “The Best Market Newcomer” at the 18th International Russian automotive forum of Adam Smith Conference.

Bulten-Rus has won the award of the 18th International Russian automotive forum of Adam Smith Conference in the nomination “The Best Market Newcomer” for establishing a joint venture with GAZ Group. The award was handed over to President and CEO of Bulten company Tommy Andersson at the Adam Smith forum, which took place in Moscow on 17-19 of March, 2015.

– Our cooperation with Bulten is an important step in implementation of automobile industry strategy in terms of localization of production and import substitution of automotive components. Bulten-Rus continues our projects for the organization of the modern production of world-class components in the perimeter of GAZ. Products of Bulten-Rus are already used in the manufacturing of a new family of GAZ commercial vehicles NEXT.

– The prize “Best Market Newcomer 2014” is awarded to Bulten company for successful implementation of the development strategy in the Russian market. Bulten is a leading supplier of fasteners with five plants worldwide. Bulten-Rus is a JV of Bulten company with Autocomponents Division of GAZ Group.

– Bulten-Rus was opened on GAZ plant in 2014 to produce high-quality automotive fasteners for the Russian market. At present, the plant is certified by the key Russian vehicle manufacturers. Setting up of the plant in Nizhny Novgorod is a project of long-term investments contributed by Bulten and aimed at development of the autocomponents production in Russia. The business activities of Bulten-Rus company are concentrated in Nizhny Novgorod, however, logistics solutions and engineering support will be accessible, if required, in other cities, as well.
