Power management company Eaton announced that Dave Karnes has been named vice president, Sales North American Truck, reporting to Tim Sinden, president, North America Truck Operations, effective immediately. Karnes most recently served as director, Roadranger® Field sales and marketing North America Truck. He will continue to be based in Galesburg, Michigan.

”Dave’s diverse background and experience will serve the business well in his newly expanded role,” said Sinden. “As a key member of the North American Truck leadership team, Dave will be an integral part of our growth strategy going forward.”

Karnes joined Eaton in 1987 as a manufacturing accountant for the Transmission division, and before moving to sales in 2008 he held the position of division controller for the Vehicle Group’s Clutch business. Prior to joining Eaton, Karnes worked for Dana Corp. as a divisional accounting manager.

Karnes earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and master’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
