Takata airbag recall blows up; millions more cars added

In recent announcements, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) said it is recalling an additional 1.4 million cars globally, while Honda is recalling an extra 350,000 cars in the US and BMW 420,000 in the US

Following the recent announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that it was nearly doubling the number of vehicles included in the Takata recall to 53 million vehicles globally, including 33.8 million in the US, many OEMs have had to announce additional recalls for the faulty airbag products.
