Renault has announced that it has invested €60m (US$73.6m) in a new powertrain innovation building at its Lardy Technical Centre facility near Paris. The Pole d’Innovation Mecanique (PIM or powertrain innovation centre) houses 27 new-generation combustion engine test benches in an area of 5,000 square metres.
