BYD has started production at its first electric vehicle (EV) plant outside China, rolling out the inaugural Seagull model from its Camaçari facility in Brazil's Bahia state. The converted plant, formerly operated by Ford, will initially assemble three models: the Seagull (also known as the Dolphin Mini), Song Pro, and King hybrid vehicles.
