Vivek Vikram Singh, Group CFO and Head – Strategy, The Sona Group has been confirmed as a moderator for the Car Lightweighting & Manufacturing track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.

Singh is Group CFO for Sona Group, and also heads the strategy function for the auto components major, overseeing finance and strategy for the $850 million group’s operations spread across Germany, Japan, the US and India.

Prior to taking up this role, Singh was leading the manufacturing & auto sector practice for the advisory services division of Grant Thornton in India, where he assisted over 100 clients with strategy formulation & implementation, government policy framework design, performance management systems, commercial DDs, entry strategy, feasibility studies and capital raising initiatives.

He has also worked at KPMG and Hewitt Associates in the past. Singh is an engineer by training, and went on to further his education by studying management at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The Car Lightweighting and Manufacturing track on day two will focus on the best and most efficient ways to reduce vehicle weight in mainstream light vehicles.
