TRW Automotive Holding Corp. (NYSE: TRW) today announced that Colleen Hanley has joined the Company as director, Global Communications. Ms. Hanley reports directly to Peter Lake, executive vice president, Sales and Business Development and is located at the TRW headquarters in Livonia, Michigan.
Ms. Hanley will be responsible for TRW Automotive’s global communication function. In this role, she will develop and execute the Company’s global internal and external communications strategy and serve as the Company spokesperson with all key media audiences.
Before joining TRW, Ms. Hanley was the vice president of marketing, communications and government affairs for healthcare information technology services company, CareTech Solutions. Prior to that, she spent the greater part of her career in automotive, holding various strategy and communication leadership positions for both ArvinMeritor and EDS.
Ms. Hanley is a graduate of Michigan State University holding a Bachelor’s degree in communication and a Master’s degree in advertising. She is also the 2013 Communicator of the Year as honored by the International Association of Business Communicator’s Detroit chapter.
