Rob Martin, North American Operations Director, Octo Telematics has been confirmed as a speaker at Connected Car Detroit.
In his role as North American Operations Director, Robert Martin oversees daily fulfilment services, training programs, and customer support for Octo Telematics in Vista, California.
The company has shipped more than two million insurance telematics devices in the US and Canada, with nearly 5 million currently connected devices worldwide. Rob previously worked as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. where he helped form and manage the Emergency Telematics and Advanced Emergency Communications coalitions in 2008 and 2009, to advocate for policy change, technology improvement and adoption.
Rob formerly served as executive director of the national 9-1-1 Emergency Number and Emergency Dispatch associations.
