MAN is putting over 120 trucks on show to be seen and test-driven at the “MAN Trucknology Days 2013” on March 16 and 16, 2013 in Mu-nich. The focus of the product show is on the efficient MAN vehicles drawn from many sectors and on a special exhibition of vehicles for municipal services.
A large number of MAN TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX vehicles will be on view and available for short test drives. Displaying as much variety as the sectors in which MAN vehicles are operated, this year’s show will present around 120 vehicles drawn from five areas: long-haul transport, distribution transport, construction, heavy-duty transport and municipal services. Handling impressions in construction vehicles, heavy-duty road trains with gross weights of more than a hundred tonnes and long-haul trucks on the test track are sure to thrill visitors. The longer test drives being offered in the newest MAN models on the motorways and secondary roads near the MAN plant under the supervision of MAN ProfiDrive instructors will prove to be a fascinating experience for visitors.
Entrance to the event at MAN in Dachauer Street, Munich, on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 is free. You are kindly asked to register on the home page, www.man-trs.de.
But far more than just trucks are on show at the MAN Trucknology® Days: MAN Services and many of MAN’s partners are also presenting their products. More than 50 suppliers and companies manufacturing bodies and equipment will be on hand for technical discussions.
Every year, MAN highlights a specific sector at the Trucknology® Days and puts on a special show, delighting visitors and experts from the trade with demonstrations. This year, the spotlight is on the great variety of products to be found amongst vehicles for municipal services. Whether it’s road sweepers, snow ploughs, refuse-collection or fluid-waste disposal vehicles, comprehensive information on this sector will be found at the show. Besides the MAN TGL, TGM and TGS vehicles, there will also be several VW Amaroks and VW Crafters on display, as highly-capable special-purpose vehicles with winter-service equipment or as compact, agile refuse collectors.
Since 2008, MAN has put on this product show at least once every year. Last year, it drew around two-and-a-half thousand interested visitors and customers to the MAN Truck Forum and the nearby test track in Munich.
