FAW-Volkswagen, a joint venture between FAW Group and Volkswagen AG, announced on February 12 that January end sales of domestic models rose 5.3 percent to 144,201 units. Among which Volkswagen-brand cars were sold 106,506 units in January, still maintaining leading position in China’s market, and domestic models of Audi brand sales jumped 20.3 percent year-on-year to 37,695 units in January.
In addition, sales of imported models were up 7.1 percent to 6,531 units in January.
