Continental Structural Plastics’ (CSP), a Teijin Group Company, today announced that its Huntington, Indiana, operations have received the Q1 certification from Ford Motor Company. This award recognizes suppliers who have successfully implemented Ford’s quality management system and distinguishes CSP as a preferred supplier.

The award was commemorated with a Q1 flag raising ceremony at the CSP Huntington location earlier today. Several key executives from Ford and CSP were in attendance as the company marked this significant accomplishment.

“This award is a testament to our commitment to Ford and to the hard work and dedication of our team here in Huntington,” said Steve Rooney, CEO of CSP. “It is also a reflection of Ford’s confidence in our operations. Congratulations to the entire CSP team in Huntington.”

This is certification is internationally recognized as an indication of extraordinary quality, and is only given to suppliers who can meet Ford’s stringent quality standards. Specifically, Q1 award recognizes CSP Huntington for its ability to provide superior product quality, high reliability, exceptional materials and dependable supply chain management on an on-going basis.
