Chrysler Canada today announced its 44th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth, continuing the longest sales streak in the Company’s history. July sales totaled 26,209 vehicles, representing an 8% increase over July 2012 and the best July in Chrysler Canada’s history.
“July was an exceptionally good month for retail sales throughout the product lineup, in fact it marked the highest July retail sales in our history,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Canada. “It’s a great combination right now, the Canadian light vehicle industry is at record levels and we have gained the most sales in Canada.”
Passenger car sales at Chrysler Canada were up 20% compared with results for July one year ago.
The Dodge Grand Caravan remains one of the Top 5 best-selling vehicles in Canada. Chrysler Town & Country sales continue to be strong, with 776 vehicles sold in July 2013. This represents a 168% year-over-year increase and a July sales record.
The Jeep Wrangler continues to resonate well with Canadian consumers and July sales of 2,243 vehicles marked an all-time monthly record for the Jeep Wrangler.
Ram truck continues to set records, with sales of 7,854 vehicles representing an all-time July record and a 21% increase over July 2012. With 49,082 Ram trucks sold year-to-date, up 20% versus the same period last year, Ram is the fastest growing truck brand in Canada
