Bridgestone, the world’s largest tyre manufacturer, is set to take its long-standing partnership with Mercedes-Benz to the next level with two new Original Equipment (OE) fitments.
Owners of new Mercedes-Benz GLA and C-Class vehicles around the world will soon enjoy the added safety, performance and efficiency of fully customised Bridgestone technology.
The all-new Bridgestone Dueler H/P was chosen by Mercedes-Benz for its latest compact SUV model: the GLA. Bridgestone will be producing the tyre in 3 sizes: 215/60 R17 96V (standard summer), 235/50 R18 97H (extended all season) and 235/45 R19 95V (extended summer) for 17”, 18” and 19” rims.
Renowned for their outstanding durability, reliability and performance, Bridgestone’s Dueler H/P Sport tyres will get the most out of their vehicle, even in challenging conditions.
Also joining the ranks of recent Bridgestone OE fitments is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. 16” and 17” versions of the Bridgestone’s Turanza T001 have been tailored to the specific requirements, while drivers looking for true sports performance have the option of the legendary Bridgestone Potenza S001 in 18” sizes. Bridgestone’s advanced Blizzak LM-32 winter tyre was also chosen to complete the factory fitment package. 7 sizes in all will be developed specifically for the C-Class:
