Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ALSN) today announced that its labor agreement with United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 933, which was set to expire at midnight on Nov. 14, has been extended until noon on Nov. 21.
“We will continue to work diligently toward achieving a fair and equitable agreement,” said Robert L. Price, Vice President of Human Resources for Allison Transmission.
UAW Local 933 represents approximately 1,500 employees at various Allison Transmission locations in Indianapolis. Negotiations on the new contract began on Sept. 4.
