Ales Alajbegovic, Vice President, Exa has been confirmed as a speaker at Fuel Economy Detroit.

Dr. Alajbegovic first joined Exa in 1996. He rejoined the company in 2005 as the Director of Thermal Management Applications. In 2013 he became Vice President of Ground Transportation Applications, after a continuous increase of responsibilities. He was Team Leader for CFD and Multiphase Development at AVL from 1997 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2005 he was the Lead Research Scientist at General Dynamics. Dr. Alajbegovic has extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics and development of industrial applications.

He currently serves as the Chair of thermal management activities at SAE International.
