Trucks are getting bigger, longer, changing shape, and facing increasingly stringent standards. As this happens, a whole new set of challenges arises for suppliers – from already facing the possibility of a Euro VII, or evaluating how changes in the industry will have a knock-on effect to areas such as logistics or safety. ZF recently presented its Innovation Truck, a tractor-trailer prototype measuring 25.25m, to detail how truck drivers, OEMs, and logistics companies can benefit from a combination of telematics, transmission, and steering.
