Ford Otosan in production deal with Avtotor of Russia

The automotive industry is an important one for Russia. Over the past year, however, the industry has been in a decline owing to the Ukraine situation with regard to Crimea, and the resulting sanctions imposed on Russia by the West. The situation is compounded by the fact that the Russian automotive industry was already hit by an economic slowdown.
