The growing amount of software in cars presents more opportunities for OEMs to leverage software management solutions to cut costs. There is an increasing expectation of the car to be able to update and refresh its software system, akin to other consumer devices like smartphones, but keeping these systems up to date could pose a costly scenario for OEMs and consumers.
