Luca de Meo had been at the helm of Renault for nearly five years when he decided to switch career and run the luxury goods group Kering. Having turned Renault around from its financial downturn, accelerated the move into electric vehicles (EVs) and restructured the company with a series of partnerships, he left in July 2025.
