Reducing NVH makes for safer trucks

A new under-seat suspension technology helps to reduce the effects of vibration and ride harshness in trucks, improving driver comfort

Long haul truck driving is one of the top ten most dangerous jobs in the US, according to Forbes. The combination of long hours, quick turnarounds, and the stress of operating heavy machinery all contribute to its ranking.

A new under-seat suspension system developed by Bose, primarily a supplier of high quality sound systems, has been developed to assist drivers of heavy-duty vehicles. Bose says this system is proven to “dramatically reduce driver fatigue and pain,” and can provide a competitive edge for OEMs.
