Proving ground prepares for pinpoint procedures

Millbrook is investing and restructuring in preparation for imminent changes in automotive testing procedures. By Michael Nash

Millbrook is a leading independent vehicle test, validation and engineering service provider based in the UK. In February 2016, the company announced that it was making a multi-million pound investment to expand and enhance its powertrain testing capabilities.

A further four engine test cells are being built, adding to the existing nine, while construction has also started on a new fuel blending facility, a four-wheel drive (4WD) chassis dynamometer test cell that will be fully compliant with the worldwide harmonised light vehicle test procedure (WLTP), additional soak space and advanced climatic capability.
