Navistar’s first Analyst Day for three years – held during early February – came at an interesting juncture for both the North American and the global truck industry. North American Class 8 demand is at a level of buoyancy not seen in many years while many other global markets are a pale shadow of their former selves. For Navistar, a resolutely North American supplier, this should be a good thing.
