May 2015 delivery data underlines importance of N America for AB Volvo

AB Volvo has released data for truck deliveries made during May. In total, the four brands contained within the group – Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack and UD Trucks – delivered 17,448 units, a sequential decline on the 17,711 units delivered during April but a 0.2% year-on-year improvement over the 17,410 units delivered during May 2014. On a long-term basis, that which we term the Registration Rate – namely the percentage of vehicles delivered within the current month as a percentage of the ten-year long-term average – is just positive at 100.2%.
