A new survey across multiple key markets by Germany-based market research agency GfK has revealed that ‘leading edge consumers’ (LECs) find strong appeal in ‘ultrasafe’ cars that feature incident mitigation systems and high levels of connectivity.
UK-based innovation consultant The Strategy Distillery defines leading edge consumers as individuals that are “highly creative, above average intelligence, outgoing people who are brand savvy.”
