There was every reason for Nissan and its British-born Chief Planning Officer and Executive Vice President, Andy Palmer, to be all smiles at the NAIAS in Detroit last week.
The company had just revealed its Sports Sedan concept – “It will be the next Maxima,” said Palmer candidly behind the scenes – to a fairly astonished reception. Boring it isn’t, although they’ll surely tone down the glitz on the show car for production.
