Growth prospects and experienced partner tempt GM back to medium-duty truck segment

GM couldn't stay away for long. After a six-year absence, the OEM is now returning to the medium-duty truck segment thanks to a partnership with Isuzu

General Motors is once again tapping strategic partner Isuzu to plug a gap in its line-up. The two companies have worked together on numerous projects over the past 40 years, and while GM sold its stake in the Japanese manufacturer in 2006, they have continued to collaborate on various projects since then.
