Farming of the future – Denso’s microalga could transform biofuel sector

The Japanese supplier is aiming to tackle cost and efficiency issues in biofuel production

Denso is looking to transform the biofuel field with a new test facility, which will be built in Amakusa, Japan. The centre will start operations in April 2016, and will house the production of biofuels using Denso-patented microalga. The company believes it reduce the reliance on corn-based biofuel.
