COMMENT: Class 8 orders cool in March

ACT has released preliminary data for March North American order intake that indicates a market that may be approaching a cooling off period. At 25,100 units – (rival forecaster FTR published data at 24,780 units) March intake represents a 19.6% reduction from February’s 31,200 order total and a year on year decline of 8.7% from the March 2014 total of 27,489 units.
