Notwithstanding President Trump’s dismissal of global warming as a ‘hoax’ and the withdrawal of the US from the Paris Accord on climate change, there is every sign that individual states of the Union will maintain and even strengthen their legislative measures aimed at cutting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
