Communication between vehicles and other vehicles as well as infrastructure and pedestrians could be extremely important for the rollout of autonomous vehicles. Trials on cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology have been taking place across Europe for some time, and now they have recently started in the US. More could follow shortly.
