New filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) show that MHR Fund Management, a private investment firm run by Mark Rachesky, has accumulated 9,335,837 Navistar common shares, equivalent to a 13.6% stake in the truck OEM. According to a Reuters report, MHR may now seek talks with Navistar's management.
