Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced on 12 April that they had completed the development and begun the operation of 'M-tech Labo', a smart grid demonstration system that uses EVs’ batteries and used rechargeable (secondary) batteries in EVs for grid-balancing the group’s factory facilities’ peak energy demand.
