The European Commission has approved an application from Portugal for €1.5m (US$2.08m) assistance from the European Globalisation adjustment Fund (EGF).
The application concerns 726 workers made redundant following plant closures by Lear, Krombert & Schubert and Leoni Wiring Systems in the Norte and Centro regions. The EGF funding of €1.5m requested
