New car registrations in the EU (EU27) fell by 16.6% year-on-year in October to 1,027,036 units. This compared with 1,232,124 cars registered in October 2009.
This 16.6% drop comes on the back of 9.6% year-on-year decline recorded in September 2010, when registrations slid to 1,227,645 cars. Car registrations in the EU
