Chinese vehicle manufacturer Great Wall Motor and its Bulgarian joint venture partner Litex Motors are scheduled to commence assembly of vehicles in February 2011. The JV plant is located in Lovech in northern Bulgaria.
The two companies signed a JV agreement on 15 October 2009. The plant will have annual output
