Nissan has kicked off production of a new 2.0-litre gasoline engine at its Sunderland plant in the UK. The news that Sunderland had won production of the new unit, codenamed MR, came out in July 2009.
Around 60,000 MR engines will be produced in Sunderland each year. The project protects 130
