Bridgestone Americas has formally broken ground for a new US$100m Technical Center in Akron, Ohio that will eventually house around 1,000 workers. Construction on the Technical Center is expected to begin in April with completion of the 260,000sq-ft facility targeted for late 2011 or early 2012.
