Tesla Motors has confirmed in an SEC filing that it has extended the availability of its Lotus Elise-derived Roadster EV from this summer to mid-2012, by ordering 100 more body and chassis units from the British sports car maker.
Tesla Motors originally contracted in 2005 to take 2,400 Elise chassis/body units
