Fast-rising robotaxi firm Waymo has announced plans to build autonomous Jaguar I-PACE and Zeekr vehicles at a new factory in Mesa, Arizona, in partnership with Canadian supplier Magna. The facility, which has already created hundreds of jobs, will play a critical role in scaling Waymo One, the firm’s fully autonomous ride-hailing service.
