Trucking group challenges CA emissions deal with OEMs

The Western States Trucking Associates claims states can't enforce OEM partnership after Congress blocked key regulations. By Stewart Burnett

The Western States Trucking Association (WTSA) has filed a petition challenging California's Clean Truck Partnership between the state’s Clean Air Resources Board (CARB) and truck manufacturers. WSTA argues the CARB lacks authority to enforce the agreement after Congress and President Trump disapproved federal waivers for key emissions regulations.
