Webasto is exhibiting at IAA Cars 2015 under the motto “Global Technology. Global Excellence. Global Footprint.” The motor show runs from 17 to 27 September. The Webasto booth can be found in hall 8.0, booth A19. The market leader for convertible roof system, sliding roofs, panorama roofs and parking heaters will be presenting its diverse range of products and application solutions at the show.
The “All Roof Company”
Webasto will offer visitors to the show a convincing demonstration of the functional principle and benefits of the Multi Optional Roof (MOR). This system intelligently supports automobile manufacturers’ platform strategies and facilitates the flexible fitting of a range of different roof systems to just a single interface on the body.
Webasto will also be exhibiting its lightweight technology solutions. The company has identified a range of new potential applications that extend beyond roof systems, particularly for polycarbonate – as a result of the material’s excellent product characteristics, such as safety and free formability.
Heating systems for all drive types
Whether classic internal combustion engine, hybrid or electric propulsion – Webasto offers customized solutions for heating the vehicle, regardless of the drive type. At the IAA the company is also launching its completely redesigned and free app for controlling parking heaters in cars. The new app impresses with its intuitive operating concept and wide range of new functions, which offer users even greater convenience.
Convertible roofs for maximum driving comfort
The new convertible roofs are lighter, faster and quieter than ever before. The roof specialist develops custom roofs for all models of convertible cars, which give a special touch to the character of the respective vehicle.
