The Western Star website has been updated with new features that highlight its breadth of vocational and on-highway solutions. The site’s new responsive design and modular layout improves user experience, readability on mobile and tablet devices, and provides deeper product information.
The website’s improved Truck Locator makes it easier than ever for customers to connect with Western Star trucks that are in inventory throughout the United States and Canada. Customers can search for their specific needs by entering location, model, specs, powertrain and more. They will then be able to review all available options and directly connect with the dealer.
“We’ve seen mobile access to our website more than triple over the past couple of years, so we designed the site to maximize our customers’ digital experience by adding content and features that will resonate with them,” said Andy Johnson, brand manager for Western Star. “With truck details viewable on the website or downloadable to take offline, our revamped website is faster and easier for customers to find the information they need.”
Every Western Star truck includes detailed features and specs information, and a new Extreme Duty (XD) OFFROAD section includes solution-specific information for mining and oil/gas applications. The enhanced powertrain section showcases the range of Detroit and Cummins solutions available for Western Star models.
Additional features, such as an upgraded dealer locator, Star Gallery with beauty shots, and an “Awesomeness” section that showcases Western Star customers, are also on the enhanced site.
